There are three dual meets throughout the summer in which the Buckman swimmers shall be participating. The swimmers should arrive at the dual meets at 7:50 AM. Warm -Ups begin at 8 AM, sprints at 8:40 AM and the actual meet begins at 9 AM.

I swam for Buckman ages 8-11

What is your swimming experience?
After Buckman I started swimming with David Douglas Swim Club until I went to Boise State University and swam D-1 there for two years.

Favorite SSL or swimming memory:
Watching coach Jove cheering for his teammate during a backstroke race while Jove himself was also racing! That is some real team spirit!

If you could be a character from the Wizard of Oz, who would you be and why?
I guess I would be Toto.. Because he is always up for an adventure!

What is your past Summer Swim League Experience?

I swam on Buckman when I was six years of age. It was definitely one of the most fun experiences I’ve had because of the closeness I felt with my fellow swimmers (due to the small swim team sizes). I have been coaching summer swim team for about three years. I also have coaching experience with blue makos (five years)

What is your swimming experience?
I’m basically a fish. Live, breath, drink water everyday.

Favorite SSL or swimming memory:
Probably last year when me and the Buckman swim team had a potluck filled with food, drinks, and ice wars

If you could be a character from the Wizard of Oz, who would you be and why?
I would be the Scarecrow, because I’m made of straw. Shhh, don’t tell anyone.
